Antonia joined Carter-Ruck as a trainee and qualified as a solicitor in 2001. She qualified as a Solicitor-Advocate in 2006.
Antonia specialises in media litigation and reputation management. Her clients include private individuals, MPs, members of European Royal families, as well as other high-profile business people, celebrities and charities. She is described in the Chambers UK Guide to the Legal Profession as "completely unflappable" and is noted for her "devotion and ability to put complex issues into layman's terms".
Antonia is currently working with Alasdair Pepper, on behalf of IVF doctor Mohamed Taranissi and his clinic ARGC, in proceedings for libel against the BBC in respect of a Panorama programme broadcast on 15 January 2007.
Antonia, with Alasdair Pepper, also represents Prince Radu of Hohenzollern in ongoing proceedings for libel against Royalty Monthly magazine.
Other previous work includes assisting Mark Thomson in acting for Sir Martin Sorrell in libel proceedings and related privacy proceedings in 2006. Antonia also worked in a privacy claim brought on behalf of singer Loreena Mckennitt in 2005/2006. The subsequent Court of Appeal judgment (following the Defendants' unsuccessful appeal) is widely considered to be one of the most significant privacy decisions to date.
Antonia is a member of the Media Society.
