Dr Malik is the author of a number of books on immigration law and upon Islamic law. He has also presented a variety of programmes on legal topics on television and radio and his weekly radio show, The Immigration Programme, broadcast on Sunrise Radio has run for the last eleven years.

Dr Malik said that he was extremely pleased that the record has been set straight and that The Sunday Times had accepted that its allegations against him were unsubstantiated.
