Carter-Ruck Associate James Watkins is on the founding committee for a newly formed professional association and networking group Next Generation Media Lawyers. The association was launched earlier this month and is aimed at media law practitioners with 10 year PQE/Call or under.

The objective is to help members expand their networks and build relationships with like-minded individuals who are at a similar stage in their careers, fostering beneficial communication within this close-knit sector. The association will hold regular social events throughout the year, develop a programme of educational talks and seminars on significant media law issues, whilst also providing a platform via their website and LinkedIn page to share thought leadership and legal updates.

The NGML members are solicitors, barristers, trainees, pupil barristers and paralegals from across the media law industry. If you are in private practice or in-house, a claimant or defendant specialist, get in touch with the Committee for further information and/or joining details.
